Komorebi in paint no.10
Acrylic on canvas/wooden stretcher
1016mm x 1016mm
My series Komorebi was started as an appreciation for nature, the welcoming presence and peace it brings to the soul. The way sunlight streams through tree leaves. Taking the time to be still and immerse yourself in your surroundings. A hope for a better future, where people are gentle with nature and each other.
My final piece is violent, burning, suffering, there is no peace here. Over 40.000, Palestinians have been brutally killed since October 7th. Homes, schools, hospitals, places of worship, tents - nowhere is safe. We are witnessing such brutality and atrocities in real time yet the most our leaders have done is expel a Senator from the caucus for having the moral backbone to vote for Palestinian statehood.
Not sure how our government sleeps at night.
Australia-wide shipping included.
